Not just for summer, my mixture of green, chopped salads can be served at any time of year.

There is a refreshing recipe using tomatoes and a recipe for cucumber salad served in a great dressing. One of my favourites is Feldsalat (lambs lettuce). It is found on all the menus in Germany and tastes just fab in a tangy dressing.

If your kids aren't into healthy eating, try out my Karottensalat, my kids absolutely love it even though they are not huge fans of carrots.
