There are many packages on the market so take your time and find the right one for you. I used tapes in the good old days, but now there are on-line packages or perhaps a learn German cd for the car would be your preferred option. I listened to my tapes every day. Of course, I live here now so my German is pretty fluent. However, the Germans love it if you try to speak their language. Because of course not everyone here speaks English, although it is often expected. So if you are planning a business trip or a vacation, have a go at learning German.
