My two children love to help out in the kitchen. The messier the better. With my help your children can find out all about German food and cook German recipes for kids. It is so much fun to find out what other families eat and it is a way of introducing some International food as well. Never heard of Flaedlesuppe (pancake soup)? well you have now and my easy kids recipe for it is right here. My children love it and yours will too.

Your children will have fun with my kid cooking recipes such as Frikadelle (meatballs). Served with German potato salad or just in a roll, one of my easy kids snack recipes, either way, they will be a big hit.

Kids Raspberry Dream Dessert Recipe

My raspberry dream dessert is one of our favourite kid recipes. In fact the whole family will love it. My young son Cameron prepares this dessert all by himself for when friends come round. We prepared it for New Years Eve and not a spoonful was left over.

You will need:
1 100g packet of small meringues - or you can make your own!
400g whipping cream and a 250g tub of mascarpone
300g fresh or frozen raspberries
small piece of milk chocolate

You will need to whip the cream and mascarpone together.

Try to use a glass bowl for this dessert as it looks pretty once finished.

Place one layer of meringues in the bottom of the bowl. Then a layer of cream. Grate some chocolate over the cream and then finish with a layer of raspberries. Continue until all the ingredients are used up. Finish with a layer of cream and then grate more chocolate over the top.

The dessert can be also be prepared with strawberries, blackberries etc. Mmmmm enjoy it!
