My mother always talks about this fluffy cake make of rice. She said it took a lot of eggs and milk, and of course, rice. She said it was baked in the oven (unlike rice pudding).
I had recently found a recipe (and lost it) that was very close to this. I found that the eggs were separated. the whites were beaten until foamy and folded in.
This may be Hungarian or Austrian.
