German pasta salad

by Bill
(Florida, USA)

Had a girlfriend whose parents owned a hotel in Lubbeke, this was on the menu.

Pack of pasta twists
Can of small sweet peas.
Sticks of celery
Can of sweetcorn
Mayonaise
Salt and pepper
Vinegar
1 large precooked pork sausage
Pinch of paprika

Cook and drain pasta, add to large bowl.
Add drained peas and sweetcorn.
Slice finely the celery and add to taste.
Finely slice sausage and add to bowl.
Add mayonaise so that it just coats ingedients, not sloppy.
Add small dash of vinegar, malt or white.
Mix thoroughly and refrigerate till cool.
Serve and garnish with a pinch of paprika.

Will keep up tp 3 days in fridge.

Thank you, Bill, for the German pasta salad recipe. It does not fit the side dish I was looking for, but sounds very tasty. Plan to try it out. Thanks again. Rose Marie
