German Mayonnaise-Homemade, served Bavarian style over Pommes Frites

I served in the U S Army, in Germany in the late seventies.


sidewalk Vendors sold pommes frites, Bavarian style french

fry bits in a paper cone, covered with homemade Mayonnaise.

This was in Friedberg, W. Germany. if you know your

language, the above city name is pronounced "Freedberg, the

i is silent. The mayo was almost a heavy liquid, the

recipes i can find, do not equal that mayonnaise
