Dill sauce

by Sonja Davis

My mother-in-law was from Bavaria. I've learned many recipes from her but one I did not. She would make boiled potatoes and cover them in the white dill sauce, so delicious. If anyone might have this recipe please send it to me.

Tomato Gravy
by: Suan

My Grandmother used a similar gravy with the same rue, tomato juice and a little sugar and put that on top of boiled potatoes it was delicious. She also made this dill recipe and I loved it too.

Make rue from 2tb flour + 2tb butter and 1/4 c finely diced onions cook on med low for 5 minutes stirring slowly until onions are translucent. Add 2 cups milk slowly, then add 1/3 c chopped fresh dill then at end add vinegar ( I add about 2-4tbs) to taste and salt.
