LEISMEISTER’S KUCHA

¾ cup Milk ¼ cup shortening 1/3 cup sugar 2 pkg. Yeast 1 ½ tsp salt ½ cup luke warm water 2 eggs 4 cups flour
Scald milk. Add sugar, salt and shortening. Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in water with 1 tsp sugar.
Stir in remaining flour. Turn dough out on lightly floured board and knead until smooth and elastic. Place dough in greased bowl and brushy top with soft shortening. Cover. Let rise until double in bulk. Roll out dough.
Filling:
4 or 5 eggs Vanilla 3 cups sour cream (Large Tub) - Can use melted ice cream too...omit sugar. ½ cup of flour Approximately 3 cups of sugar
Add sugar to cream and let dissolve, Mix together other ingredients.
Do not use pears, they are not very good
