This recipe was used by the German Army during the last World War and remembered by many soldiers that carried at least one small piece in their pocket for those hard times when no food was to be found! A bakery in Dallas used to make this recipe on the weekends, but with the passing years I am not able to locate this recipe. I appreciate your help. Linda Rose .. peipersrose@hotmail.com
