Easy Chocolate Fondue Recipe

Chocolate Fruit Fondue
with Orange

My easy chocolate fondue recipe is a must have. Have you ever wondered what to serve for dessert that is quick, easy and something that everyone will enjoy.

Everyone is passionate about chocolate. Chocolate fondue will make any occasion special. Whether it be your wedding, birthday, anniversary, chocolate fondue will impress all your invited friends.

1/2 orange
1 lemon
500g fresh fruit such as pear, banana, figs or strawberries
100g cream
125g dark chocolate, the best quality you can find
1/2 tbsp orange liquor

2 tbsp dessicated coconut
2tbsp finely chopped hazelnuts or your favourite nut

Finely grate the orange peel. Freshly squeeze the orange and lemon separately and retain the juice. Wash the fruit, peel if necessary and cut into bite-sized pieces. Pour lemon juice over the banana and pear to prevent browning. Arrange the fruit decoratively on a plate.

Heat the cream in a small fondue pot. Break up the chocolate and heat slowly until melted. Add the orange liquor, orange peel and orange juice and stir.

Dip the fruit into the chocolate using the fondue forks and then dip in dessicated coconut or chopped nuts.

Enjoy!
